Safe Pantry: Food Recall Alert — food recall & outbreak notifications for iOS and Android

The short version: Safe Pantry surfaces official FDA and USDA recall information. It is an independent app, not a government service, and it is not a substitute for the official notice or for medical advice. Premium is optional; subscriptions auto-renew until you cancel, and you cancel through your App Store or Google Play account.
By downloading or using Safe Pantry: Food Recall Alert (the “App”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms are between you and the developer and publisher of the App (“we”, “us”).
The App aggregates publicly available recall and outbreak information from official sources including the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (openFDA, fda.gov) and the USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service, plus product details from Open Food Facts and USDA FoodData Central.
Core recall alerts, including all Class I (life-threatening) alerts, are free. Premium unlocks an unlimited watchlist, allergen profiles, UPC pantry scanning, and household sharing.

Prices are shown in your local currency at checkout and may differ by territory. The price displayed by the App Store or Google Play at the moment of purchase is the price that applies.
Auto-renewal. Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. A subscription renews automatically for the same length and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
Cancelling. Manage or cancel a subscription any time in your store account: Apple subscriptions · Google Play subscriptions. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription. Cancelling stops future renewals; the current paid period runs to its end.
Refunds. All purchases are processed by Apple or Google, not by us. Refunds are handled under the policy of the store you purchased from — Apple or Google Play. We never see or store your payment details.
You agree not to: reverse engineer or attempt to circumvent purchase verification; scrape, resell, or redistribute the App's data feeds at scale; submit knowingly false food-poisoning reports; or use the App in any way that breaks applicable law.
The “Report food poisoning” feature is optional. Reports you submit may be used in aggregate to identify outbreaks and may be shared with public-health channels such as FDA's CAERS. Do not include information you are not comfortable sharing for that purpose. See the Privacy Policy for what is collected.
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of data. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on recall information, missed or delayed notifications, or data errors originating in the underlying government sources. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
We may update the App or these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date on this page, and continued use after that date means you accept the updated Terms. We may suspend access for a user who violates these Terms.
For copies obtained through the Apple App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies, and these Terms supplement it. Apple is not a party to these Terms, has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the App, and is not responsible for addressing any claim you may have relating to the App. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
